The iSTART Children’s Art Festival is an art festival founded by the A4 Museum of Art in Luhu (Guangzhou, China) that focuses on children’s artistic creativity. iSTART Children’s Art Festival has been an annual art project since 2008, when the A4 Museum began its research and practice in children’s education. The iSTART Children’s Art Festival explores the role of artists in children’s art education and promotes the practice of art creation and offers a rich series of workshops, lectures, exhibitions, and markets. Also the festival collaborates extensively with the community through research and development of participatory projects, transforming the museum’s audience from participants to co-creators.
This year the festival was held from Aug.8th through Oct. 24th. “The24th Japan Media Arts Festival Award-winning Program” was screened at the festival.

This screening program which includes 13 award winners from the Animation and Entertainment Division of the 24th Japan Media Arts Festival, represents the trends and diversity of this year’s award-winning works.
