Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival (SICAF)

Venues: The Vicinity of Myeongdong Station, CGV Myeongdong Station, Seoul Animation Center, Soul Plaza and other locations in Seoul, South Korea.

Award-winning works from the Japan Media Arts Festival was screened at 19th Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival (SICAF), which is being held 23-28 May in the South Korean capital of Seoul. The Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival is the biggest of its kind in South Korea to see interesting and stimulating animated works and comics from all over the world. It comprises screenings of works entered into the official competition, displays, as well as markets for discovering new and upcoming animation projects and producers.
The Japan Media Arts Festival screend JAPAN POP ENERGY program at the 19th SICAF to largely introduce expressiveness of an animated work and a comic. The program consists of a collection of past award-winning works from the Japan Media Arts Festival which impart a sense of contemporary Japanese pop culture.
