iSTART Children's Art Festival by A4 Art Museum


”The Luxelakes A4 Art Museum” (formerly the A4 Contemporary Arts Center) was founded in March, 2008 by Chengdu Wide Horizon Investment Co., Ltd. The museum relocated to Luxelakes Eco-City and was formally registered as a privately operated non-profit art museum in August 2016. The A4 Art Museum has been conducting independent animation research and holding screening projects of various types of the animation works and other programs from a lot of countries since 2011.

In particular, iSTART Children's Art Festival, which was initiated in 2014, is one of the most popular annual events at the Museum, being held 26th Sep. through 6th Dec. this year.

In 2020, approx. 500 co-create artists and over 160 educational institutions are supposed to be joining the festival as well as 150+ public activities, such as the screenings of the JMAF programs and various types of the films, the forum and workshops held. More than 30,000 visitors are supposed to participate in the exhibitions.


This time, A4 Art Museum holds screenings of “ANIMATIONISM - All Creativity Welcomed -”, “23rd Japan Media Arts Festival Award-winning Program” in association with this project.
