Half of the earth has been burned in a catastrophic disaster. It is said that the event was triggered by a group of people called Burnish who, through genetic mutation, have developed pyrokinetic abilities. 30 years later, a group called Mad Burnish attacks the world again. In order to extinguish the fire, Governor Kray Foresight of the autonomous republic Promepolis organizes the police group Burning Rescue to defend against the Burnish. Amidst the scene of a burning skyscraper, Galo Thymos, a new and hot-headed firefighter, struggles furiously with Lio Fotia, the leader of Mad Burnish and a wanted terrorist. Galo defeats Lio and takes him into custody. For his bravery, Galo is recognized by Kray Foresight. Galo is proud as Kray saved his life when he was a child and has been his hero ever since. However, Lio and the other leaders of Mad Burnish, Gera and Mace, orchestrate a mass breakout of the Burnish from prison. Galo pursues them and reaches their hideout where he finds the Burnish living humble lives. At this point, Lio reveals a shocking truth about the Burnish to Galo.
Where is the justice in this situation?
Meanwhile, Galo finds out about a secret global-scale project that is about to launch.
