ACM SIGGRAPH Asia, Asia’s biggest international conference on digital media and content, with the focus on computer graphics and interactive technology, returns to Hong Kong in 2013. Japan Media Arts Festival will present official screenings of seven works, with the spotlight on award-winners in the Animation Division of the Japan Media Arts Festival 2013, at the ACM SIGGRAPH Asia 2013 Computer Animation Festival (CAF).

The Asian wing of SIGGRAPH, the U.S. digital media and content festival, has been moving around Asia since its launch in 2008. This year’s festival, the sixth, includes exhibition in the Art Gallery, animation screenings at the Computer Animation Festival (CAF), presentations on new research developments in interactive technology etc. at Emerging Technology and various other programs, with poster displays, symposiums, research presentations and more. It is also a place where computer graphic specialists, people from related industries and organizations etc. gather and present their own displays.
