PARTICIPATION IN OVERSEAS MEDIA ARTS FESTIVAL ARCHIVE

Screening at Waterpieces 2014

August 11, 2014

Award-winning works from the Japan Media Arts Festival 2014 will be screened at the Waterpieces 2014, which is being held 15-17 August in the Latvian capital of Riga.

This will be the 14th time the International Contemporary and Video Art Festival Waterpieces has been held. Starting with a discussion of media and video expression, it is currently the arts festival with the longest history in Latvia after independence from the USSR in 1991, as an established event held every year in August in Riga. Efforts are made to make the event more widely known and deepen specialization while the event is being held, through programs for the general public and programs for specialists and art students.
