LUCCA COMICS & GAMES 2016
Lucca Comics & Games is an annual festival held from late October into early November in the walled city of Lucca near Pisa. This is its 50th anniversary year. The festival is divided into the 7 sections of comics, games, videogames, a junior section for the young, music, cosplay, Japan Town and movies. The events range from exhibitions to the sale of comics, games and character goods, opportunities to try out new products and meetings with the creators. Kaoru Mori, author of the Emma comic which won an Excellence Prize in the Manga Division of the 9th Japan Media Arts Festival, will participate from Japan. In the Movie Section, there will be an advance screening of One Piece Film: Gold, directed by Hiroaki Miyamoto, prior to its Italian cinema release.
