Exhibition

“(Im)possible Baby, Case 01: Asako & Moriga” HASEGAWA Ai
(Excellence Award, Art Division, Japan Media Arts Festival 2015)

The exhibition introducing the (Im)possible Child project will be held at the main Post City venue. The idea is that genetic information gathered from a same-sex couple is used to generate the genetic data of their potential children and then create a family photo. The progress of genetic research has already made the notion of same-sex couples having children a possible dream but is this ethically acceptable? This work produced a great debate on the social media.
