Award-winning works from the Japan Media Arts Festival was screened at the Athens Digital Arts Festival 2016 which is being held 19-22 May in the Greece capital of Athens.

The Athens Digital Arts Festival (ADAF) is a media arts festival which started in 2005 and was held for its twelfth time this year. This year’s theme questioned the nature of popular culture in the digital age through displays of the latest media arts across a wide range of digital exhibitions, screenings, live performances, workshops and more. ADAF has grown to become a global magnet for media artists with more than 10,000 visitors coming this time and 450 participating artists from 60 countries.
